Get Involved!
Volunteer! Be a SAPAC Ally! Apply today! Ally/Volunteer Application
We currently have two tiers of involvement that we offer students at the University of Michigan: Ally Training and Volunteer Training.
Ally Training
The SAPAC Ally Training Program seeks to empower participants with the knowledge, awareness, and skills needed to be actively involved in the movement to end sexual and intimate partner violence. The SAPAC Ally Training Program is a great first step in receiving basic training regarding these issues and becoming a supporter of the movement.
If you'd like to register for the Ally Training, please complete our Ally/Volunteer Application. SAPAC Ally Training is offered once a semester. The next Ally Training will be held March 25, from 9 am to 4 pm.
Volunteer Training
Volunteer Training will be offered in the winter semester of each year. This advanced intensive training program is spread over a two week period. Volunteer Training will provide participants with in-depth knowledge of issues related to sexual and intimate partner violence as well as specific skills that will be developed throughout your time volunteering with SAPAC. This training is a requirement if you are interested in volunteering with the Men's Activism Program; Networking, Publicity, and Activism Program; or Peer Education Program.
If you are interested in Volunteer Training, please complete our Ally/Volunteer Application. Or learn more about the Winter 2012 Volunteer Training.
