Peer Education Volunteer Program Accomplishments

Peer Education Volunteer Program Fall Semester Accomplishments

1.    SAPAC volunteers from all three volunteer programs went to the Cider Mill for some group bonding in October 2011

2.    PEs, along with support from the NPAs and MAs, completed 101 Relationship Remix workshops in 72 days (from September to November 2011)

3.    PE volunteers facilitated portions of the SAPAC Ally Training in the November 2011

4.    PE volunteers tie-dyed tshirts and watched a movie together in November 2011

5.    The first Relationship Remix Celebration was held in December 2011 to celebrate the completion of the first semester of RR workshops ever. SAPAC staff and volunteers, Sexperteam members, University Health Service staff, and other University affiliates came to recognize the achievement of the SAPAC and Sexperteam volunteers.

 6. The PEs created custom workshops for groups such as the Engineering Epeians and MFEM focused on issues including gender and power dynamics.

Peer Education Volunteer Program Winter Semester Accomplishments (to date)

1.    PE volunteers facilitated “Relationship Remix: REMIXED” at Sexperteams’ annual conference “Sexpertise.” The workshop was an adapted version of the mandatory freshman workshop on relationships, communication, sex and consent in January 2011

2.    PE co-coordinators presented the PE program budget and goals at the SAPAC State ofthe Unit in January 2011
