Speak Out is an annual event providing a safe space for survivors of sexual violence to share their stories. In addition, the Clothesline Project and the Silent Witness Exhibit are on display. Combining these parts of the event provides an opportunity to break the silence surrounding sexual violence and honor survivors.
The Networking, Publicity, & Activism volunteers publicize for the event by designing and posting flyers. They also help set up on the day of the Speak Out, are in charge of the media check-in, and provide a table with information and resources for survivors and their supporters.
