The Survivor Empowerment & Ally Support volunteers focus on tertiary prevention education through interactive workshops, tabling and events on self-care and wellbeing to promote awareness, empathy, and understanding for the survivor experience, voice, and common reactions, as well as how to be supportive of survivors of sexual violence
Some of the annual campus events that the SEAS organize are Intimate Partner Awareness Month, Survivor Share and Speak Out: Student Collective to Support Survivor Healing, and rEVOLUTION:Making Art for Change art show.
The goal of the SEAS program is to raise awareness and break the barriers of silence surrounding sexual violence.
Do you know of an event coming up in which you would like to provide awareness about sexual violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and/or sexual harassment? SAPAC can provide volunteers with informational tables.
