Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center

The CORE Volunteers are a nonprofit student volunteer organization within the University of Michigan’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center.  Their work focuses on changing the campus climate through workshops centered around primary prevention of sexual misconduct. They accomplish this goal by facilitating personalized workshops with subjects such as Healthy Relationship & Consent.  These workshops work to enhance communication skills and equip student groups on campus with the tools they need to create and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships.

Healthy Relationship Workshop: Everyone wants a Relationship Goals relationship, but have you really identified what those goals are? Whether it be platonic or intimate, Relationship Goals is universally applicable. In this workshop, you will explore your values, identify your needs, and learn how to best communicate these through conflict role-play. SAPAC Peer Educators strive to approach these conversations around sexual violence prevention with intersectionality and accessibility in mind.

Educational workshops are free of charge. Please allow us at least 2 weeks to respond to all workshop requests.
