On May 15, 2013, three representatives from the Relationship Remix lead team were invited to the Michigan Union to present at the tenth annual Division of Student Life Research Symposium: Connecting Theory to Practice. Conference presenters were Holly Rider-Milkovich, Director of SAPAC, Laura McAndrew, Sexual Health Educator at University Health Service, and Carley Flanery, Relationship Remix Workshop Coordinator. Titled “Relationship Remix: Creating a Mixed-Methods Evaluation for Prevention Programming,” the presentation covered everything from the research and the development of the Remix program to the current data to the potential behavior implications. The team received fantastic feedback overall, and looks forward to presenting this June at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Assessment & Persistence Conference in Denver, Colorado. Data evaluation from Remix programs will continue over the summer as the Remix team prepares for the third consecutive year of Remix workshops in the residence halls.
