We are excited to share that SAPAC (Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center) is hiring for a Program Manager for Prevention Education: Undergraduate Engagement!
Some key responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversee approximately 150 student volunteers from 3 peer education programs: Consent, Outreach and Relationship Education (CORE); Bystander Intervention and Community Engagement (BICE); and Survivor Empowerment and Ally Support (SEAS)
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student co-coordinators CORE, BICE, and SEAS
- Implement weekly leadership development training with co-coordinators with a focus on identity development, leadership skill building, and program management techniques
- Lead outreach and recruitment efforts to create a diverse community of student volunteers and leaders within SAPAC
- Ensure effective, engaging, culturally relevant, and age-appropriate prevention strategies, approaches, and content are being utilized
- Assist with SAPAC's anti-racism efforts in creating spaces that are accessible, welcoming, affirming, and inclusive, with a focus on mattering and belonging in student-led spaces

- Prevention team includes the Assistant Director for Prevention Education and Student Engagement, 4 Program Managers, and 30+ student facilitators and program coordinators

- SAPAC offers prevention education for students, confidential support for survivors, and collaborates with others through trainings, programs, and innovative community engagement strategies to collectively create a campus free from violence
