The SAPAC Volunteer Training program is an intensive training that provides in-depth information on issues related to sexual violence prevention. Volunteer Training is a requirement if you are interested in volunteering with the Bystander Intervention and Community Engagement Program (BICE); Consent, Outreach, & Relationship Education Program (CORE); Survivor Empowerment and Ally Support Program (SEAS); Michigan Men; or Graduate Research, Outreach, Workshops, and Evaluation (GROWE)
Researchers and offices from all over the country are seeking a better understanding of survivor experiences. Please don’t feel any pressure or obligation to participate; just know that, if you have experienced harm, your perspective would be incredibly welcome. Feel free to look through the availabile studies and surveys on our Survey & Studies - Looking for Participants document; be sure to note any participation parameters a study or survey may have, to ensure that you’re eligible to participate.
In addition to our graduate student internship programs, SAPAC also offers paid graduate student staff positions to support some of our additional programming. Some of these positions may be currently occupied.
SAPAC offers three distinct internship opportunities for graduate students. Each offers comprehensive training and onboarding, weekly supervision with field experts, unique skill-building, and on-the-grounds experience.
