Our 90-minute dialogue workshops orient participants to conversations around masculinity and social dynamics. They are not designed for 1:1 sessions nor to be a part of any sanctioned or required referral process. Participants can request a workshop for their organization or sign-up individually and be placed in a pool of other individuals interested in a similar workshop. If you intend to request a workshop for your organization, please do so at least three weeks before the potential workshop date. Our workshops are as follows:
Michigan Man-Box Workshop: The Michigan Man-Box is focused on orienting participants to conversations around masculinity. It provides fundamental tools that assist in having conversations around masculinity, healthy relationships, and personal well-being.
Masculinity and Well-Being Workshop: The Masculinity and Well-Being workshop focuses on identifying personalized healthy ways of navigating stress, promoting holistic well-being, and embracing an authentic and positive narrative of masculinity or personal identity. We challenge participants to think critically and discuss ways in which they may incorporate well-being in their personal lives and within their communities.
Masculinity and Wellness-Focused Relationships: The Masculinity and Wellness-Focused Relationships workshop focuses on building healthy relationships, identifying elements of unhealthy relationships, and promoting positive and supportive connection in all forms of relationships.
Power, Privilege, Oppression, and Hegemonic Masculinity: The Power, Privilege, Oppression, and Hegemonic Masculinity workshop is an introductory dialogue about navigating systems of oppression, promoting social justice and liberation, and identifying hegemonic masculine narratives or norms within our shared experiences and communities.
