The SAPAC General Peer Led Support Group is hiring one facilitator for the Winter 2025 Term!
SAPAC's Peer-led Support Group (PLSG) is a weekly, drop-in, confidential healing space for
UM students who identify as survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence, sexual
harassment, or stalking. The group aims to empower survivors and facilitate resilience,
reconnection, stress relief, and anxiety reduction for our participants. Facilitators are expected
to lead the group through semi-structured discussions, self-care activities, creative arts,
interpersonal processing, and creating a safe space for sharing if participants choose to do so.
Overall, the purpose of PLSG is to provide a supportive, understanding community that
welcomes UM student survivors of all ages, genders, and identities. The group takes place in
the SAPAC Shared Space, in the Michigan Union.
